The Surf Diva Costa Rica Adventure is tucked away in the heart of the jungle. For your week at camp, we offer three different types of accommodations to please all of our surfers.

Standard accommodation

The Standard accommodation is a nice hotel set in dense tropical gardens about three minutes from the beach. The property has been recently remodeled and all rooms are spacious, clean, and simple. Each room has a coffee maker, fridge, A/C, ceiling fan, and porch. The rooms even have wooden blinds that allow the fresh air to flow throughout. There are no TV’s or phones in the room so you can kick back and relax to the sounds and sights of the surrounding jungle. There are two pools, a swim up bar, restaurant, and on site gift shop. The pool bar is the perfect place to enjoy a smoothie and hang out with friends after a day in the surf. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and appetizers and is surrounded by the scenic gardens. The staff at our Two Starfish accommodation is also quite friendly and pleasant. Best of all, it is just minutes from the surf, making it a great place to rest your surfboard and your head!

Deluxe accommodation

The Deluxe  property is the most luxurious of the accommodations. Each of the 24 rooms is located along a pathway, which meanders through a garden setting. The rooms are large and comfortable with king size beds and private patios with hammocks – who could ask for more? Inside the room, you will find a mini refrigerator, air conditioning, ceiling fan and coffee maker. The rooms even come equipped with laptop safety boxes and wi-fi service for those Divas who need to get in their nightly online shopping or email the latest surf shots to family and friends.

The hotel is centered around a large, picturesque pool and lounge area, so you won’t forget to take that afternoon dip. After a poolside nap, Divas can head over to the full service spa or on site yoga studio.

Even better, this property is a completely green hotel, so you can enjoy all of these luxuries guilt-free. Everything used at the hotel is bio-degradable and recyclable, right down to the shampoo and conditioner. The stylish open-air restaurant and bar serves delicious organic food including locally grown fruit and vegetables and fish straight from the ocean. The smaller cafeteria serves vegetarian tapas, juices, and herbal teas. There is also a small bookstore selling organic and all natural items-even sunblock (perfect for our Surf Divas)!.

Package Descriptions

Standard:

Izzy surfs until dark and has to race back to the hotel for a refreshing splash in the pool and a cocktail before dinner! Always the last one out of the ocean, she is generally running late every evening, so a quick turn-around is essential. The standard package is ideal for Izzy, because it's near the beach and has all the comforts she is accustomed to as the original Surf Diva. The newly remodeled hotel is perfect with its clean, simple rooms each featuring coffee maker, fridge, A/C, ceiling fan, and porch. There are no TV's or phones in the rooms, but the hotel offers room service and has an ideal location for travelers wishing to make the most of the surf! it's a 3-minute walk from the beach. There are two pools, a swim-up bar, and gift shop, so Izzy can indulge her passion for a little retail therapy, too!

Deluxe:

If you are like Coco "Upgrade" Tihanyi, then you'd feel right at home in the Deluxe package. She likes her lattes, massages and many shopping opportunities as part of her travel experience. The ultimate diva requires the best gig in town, and this is it. She tends to over-pack, overdress and over-shop, so she needs a room with an ample sized closet and space for her coordinated luggage set. The 3 STARFISH package is perfect for the ultimate diva like Coco . This new eco-friendly hotel is situated amidst beautiful, lush landscaping with a large pool area, bar and restaurant. Each room has a private patio, king-size bed, refrigerator, A/C, ceiling fan, laptop-sized safety deposit box, coffee maker and WiFi access. The friendly concierge service will provide you with helpful tips and information on a wide range of activities in the area. This property is located 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the shopping.
