Canned goods in exchange for discounts at Surf Diva

La Jolla, California – November 16, 2007 – Surf Diva will be hosting a food drive during the week of Thanksgiving.  "With the holiday season just around the corner, we want to join in the spirit of giving!" explains Coco Tihanyi, President and Co-owner of Surf Diva.

The food drive will begin on Monday 19th November until Sunday 25^th November. For every food donation brought to the boutique, customers will receive a 10% discount off all purchases. Also, Surf Diva is offering a Holiday special on all Surf Diva tees and tanks, which will be just $15 each!  In lots of cute colors and fun designs, they make an
excellent Holiday gift. The boutique offers a variety of gift ideas ranging from hats and Vans for the newborn to sweaters, totes, and Christmas ornaments!  It’s a one stop shop for all of your Holiday shopping with brands including Hurley, Indah, Split, Scanty, and Toms!

Established in 1996 by twin sisters Izzy and Coco Tihanyi, Surf Diva has introduced thousands of women from all over the world to the sport and spirit of surfing and is internationally recognized as the world's leading surf school. All food items will be donated to the San Diego Food Bank and distributed to people in need.  Since 1977, the San Diego Food Bank has been providing food, advocating for the hungry and educating the public about hunger-related issues.

Please note: Food donations must be non-perishable items such as canned goods, peanut butter, and dry cereal.
