Surf Diva featured in the Los Angeles Times & on E! Entertainment

 

La Jolla, California, August 7, 2008 – As Izzy & Coco Tihanyi, business partners and co-owners of Surf Diva Surf School, continue to ride the waves of success, in just one week – Surf Diva was featured in both the Business Section of Los Angeles Times and named one of the nations “Sexiest Wet n Wild Jobs” on E! Entertainment Network.

 

Twin sisters, Izzy & Coco Tihanyi landed a half-page article in the Business Section of Sunday’s Los Angeles Times paper (July 6, 2008) with a Surf Diva video on the Times website.  Leslie Earnest, Times Staff Writer, wrote about the twin’s challenge as they paddled into a male-dominated industry and how their passion for surfing and marketing contributed to their success as business entrepreneurs.  Sean Smith, Executive Director of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) comments on the twin’s success, “They’re not putting on an act and they’re not outsiders trying to take advantage of a trend.  They’ve definitely gown up with surfing, and it’s very clear.”

 

During this same weekend, Surf Diva was featured on E! as one of the 12 Sexiest Wet n Wild Jobs in the nation.  Surf Diva featured instructors were chosen as one of our nation’s sexiest occupation, “How can you not love this? You come to work; you’re in a bikini at the beach, and the sun is out,” Surf Diva instructor, Alyssa Neubarth, comments on the show.
