Getting there

Divas will need to fly into San Jose International Airport (SJO) in Costa Rica*. A Surf Diva shuttle will take you from San Jose to our surf camp location via the scenic jungles of Costa Rica. The five-hour drive gives you the opportunity to see the Costa Rican countryside: brightly colored buildings, pick-up soccer games, and road side sodas.  

If your flight does not get in in time to make the Surf Diva shuttle, you can take an internal flight to our camp location at your own expense.  Please note baggage and seating on these flights are limited. 

Some airlines also offer flights to Liberia, Costa Rica. Liberia is a two hour taxi ride from our surf spot.  Those divas who want to fly into Liberia rather than San Jose will need to book their own transportation from Liberia to our camp location.

*Note: Starting February 19, 2012 Divas will fly to Liberia Airport (LIR) in Costa Rica and no longer to San Jose (SJO).  Our shuttle will take you from Liberia to our surf camp. The duration of the trip is approximately 2.5 hours.

When booking your flight check out the following airlines: TACA, America West, Continental, Mexicana, Delta, and Air Tran.  Please be sure to book your flight to San Jose, Costa Rica, and NOT San Jose, California.
