Cancellation Policy
Thank you for scheduling your lesson with Surf Diva. Please review our refund policies below:
Private Lessons
Cancellations or changes need to be made at least 72 hours prior to the lesson. Any cancellations or changes made 24 to 72 hours prior to the lesson receive a $25 reprocessing fee. 24 hours prior cancellations or no shows will not receive a refund or a credit.
Clinics

Kids & Teen Weeklong Camps
To receive a full refund or reschedule your camp date with no penalty, you must call the Surf Diva office at (858) 454-8273 no later than ONE WEEK prior to the start of camp. Any changes made between one week and 72 hours prior to the start date of camp, will receive a credit for Surf Diva lessons or camp, but no refunds, and will incur a $50 reprocessing fee. There will be no refunds or reschedules for any changes within 72 hours of camp.
Boarding School
Once payment has been made there are no full refunds. The two hundred dollar deposit will not be refunded, after reservation is made. Cancellations made at least 60 days prior to the first day of camp will receive a 90% refund of the remaining payment, 30 days prior 80%, 21 days prior 50%. No refunds will be issued after 21 days prior to the first day of camp. A no show is not eligible for a refund and may not reschedule.
Costa Rica
In order to best serve our students, Surf Diva has a firm cancellation policy. Once payment has been made there are no refunds, only credits. The $500.00, USD, deposit will NOT be refunded after reservation is made. Cancellations made at least 120 days prior to the first day of the trip will receive a credit for 90% of the remaining balance, 60 days prior - 80%, 30 days prior - 50%. No credits will be issued after 30 days prior to the first day of the trip. Credits must be used within one year from the start date of the canceled program. No shows will not be eligible for a refund and may not reschedule.
Corporate Clinics
The $200 deposit required to book the clinic is non refundable. Full payment is due two weeks prior to clinic date. No refunds after one week before start date of event. Rain or shine, the event goes on.
Traffic in Southern California can be very unpredictable. We have had students miss lessons due to congested traffic. Please plan accordingly, especially if you are driving from the LA area. We do not grant refunds or reschedule lessons for any late arrivals. Payment is your final confirmation; you will not receive any further notification.
Private classes: Please check in 30 minutes prior to your your lesson at Surf Diva Boutique, 2160 Avenida de la Playa, La Jolla CA 92037.

Participants under the age of 18 will need to make sure a legal guardian is present to sign a liability form. We can arrange to fax this form beforehand if a guardian will not be in attendance.
Parking can be extremely challenging at La Jolla Shores especially on the weekend. Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes to find a parking spot. On the day of your lesson bring a comfortable bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and a water bottle. Wetsuits and surfboards will be provided by Surf Diva.
Tipping your instructor is allowed...it is not expected but always appreciated.
