Surf Camps IN LA Jolla, SAN DIEGO FOR KIDS AND TEENS

La Jolla Surf Camp in San Diego has been teaching kids and teens how to surf in a safe and fun environment since 1999. La Jolla Shores is the best beach for beginners in San Diego with kids-friendly waves and facilities (check USA Today's 10 Best beaches for beginners to catch waves here).

The surf camp instructors are all CPR, lifesaving, and first-aid certified. Aside from being excellent surfers themselves, they go through extensive training at Surf Diva surf school. Our focus is on teaching young surfers ocean awareness and improving one's surfing skills while building self-confidence for all students ages 5 to 17.

Surf Diva's surf camps for kids and teens in San Diego are family-operated and locally owned for over 20 years. Every surf camp runs to the highest expectation as our own kids were and are attending alongside yours.

Registration is open for morning surf camps, afternoon surf camps, and for full-day surf camps. Choose your Aloha Monday (that's what we call our first day of camp every week) when signing up!

RATES SURF CAMPS IN LA JOLLA 2022

Half-Day Surf Camps San Diego

Surf Diva's summer surf camps are 5-day outdoor camps running Monday - Friday at La Jolla Shores. Half-day surf camps in San Diego are available all summer long located in beautiful La Jolla Shores. Every day before we hit the water we teach our campers a land lesson that focuses on helping kids understand the ocean. With the ocean changing daily, we apply appropriate techniques to help each camper individually. Our surf camp instructors are trained to identify your child's comfort zone and place them within a group that caters to their needs. We have many different instructors on staff that specialize in various skill levels ranging from advanced to first-time surfers.

The half-day surf camps in La Jolla are offered in the morning from 9 am to 12:15 pm and in the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm. Surfers have to be dropped off at the start time of camp and can be picked up and the end time of camp (+15 min).

FULL-Day Surf Camps San Diego

The full-day camp is structured for the camper that is stoked about surfing and loves spending the entire day at the beach! Full-day campers will surf with the AM camp in the morning, then the PM camp in the afternoon. If you choose to sign up for a full-day camp please send your child to camp with a full lunch, snacks, a filled water bottle, and plenty of high-quality mineral sunscreen. Please keep in mind that if your child is new to surfing or under the age of 8, we recommend trying a week of half-day camp before signing up for full-day camp.

We want each one of our campers to finish the week with a good understanding of everything surfing. From learning about the waves to meeting new friends, our camp's motto is

“The best surfer in the water is the one having the most fun!” 

SURF CAMPS LA JOLLA FINE PRINT

• Registration is based on a first come first serve service. If the week you're looking to join is sold out, you can add yourself to a waitlist using the "BOOK CAMP" button. 
• If you are added to a waitlist we will notify you via text if a spot opens up.
• All camps run Monday - Friday. No splitting weeks. 
• We do not pro-rate or negotiate prices. 
• There is no discount or refund for missed days of camp for any reason.
• We do not take any sign-ups Monday morning before camp starts. 
• Every camp needs a minimum of 4 students in order to run.
• All rates include the surfboard rental.
• Wetsuit rental is not included in the rates. Wetsuit rentals are available for rent at the Surf Diva Surf Shop.
• We strongly suggest you book your weeks of camp in advance. Camps will sell out.

CANCELLATION / RESCHEDULE POLICY:

Cancellations and refunds can only be done through the original confirmation email.

To cancel or reschedule your booking, please use the green "Manage this Booking" button located in your confirmation email.

To receive a refund, cancellation must be made 1 WEEK prior to the start of camp. Refunds cannot be done over the phone.
