Surf Diva Surf School is a well-respected surf school in San Diego that offers a variety of surf lessons for all levels. Our school has a team of experienced lifeguard certified surf instructors who will help you learn the basics of surfing, including how to paddle, stand up, and catch a wave. If you have some surfing experience and are looking for an intermediate/advance lesson you can expect our instructors to give you tips on how to improve your surfing skills, including wave selection, weight distribution, and where to position you'reself in the linup!
Surf Diva Surf School is located at La Jolla Shores, which is a great place to surf. La Jolla Shores is know for consistent waves and relatively calm water.
All of our surf lessons include a surf board during the lesson. Wetsuits available for rent at check-in. You can view our rental prices here

Beginner Lessons
La Jolla Shores is San Diego's best "Learn to Surf" beach. It's fun consistent surf offers a great year-round experience for all levels. What makes it so special? Unlike other beaches is San Diego, La Jolla Shores has a long flat sandbar underneath the water. This allows your instructor to stand so they can be close to you at all times. Flat sandbars give a boost to safety and surf coaching. -
Intermediate Lessons
Already know the basics? La Jolla Shores offers more than tiny surf. At the south end of the beach, La Jolla Shores is protected from large surf by La Jolla Cove. The farther you walk up the beach the larger the surf gets. La Jolla Shores is the only beach in San Diego that offers different size surf for different levels.

With over 50 instructors on staff, we are the largest surf school on the west coast. All of our instructors are CPR, First Aid, Lifesaving certified.
